What You'll Do:
- Act as the primary HR point of contact, handling employee issues with fairness and confidentiality.
- Guide managers and staff on HR policies, ensuring compliance and fair practices.
- Manage leave programs such as FMLA, ADA, and state-specific leaves, from paperwork to return-to-work coordination.
- Drive the recruitment process from job postings to offer acceptance, enhancing candidate experience and working closely with hiring managers.
- Oversee benefits administration, including open enrollment and benefits inquiries.
- Maintain HRIS data accuracy, generate reports, and support HR analytics efforts.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and support annual HR audits and reporting.
- Bachelors degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive HR experience, focusing on employee relations, leave management, and recruitment.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance standards.
- Excellent interpersonal, conflict-resolution, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
- SHRM certification strongly preferred.
- Experience with ADP Recruiting module and benefits management.
- Previous experience with internship programs and external recruiting agencies.
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- 2+ years in a similar HR generalist role, with a focus on employee relations and talent acquisition.
