Human Resources Generalist

Our client, a well-known automotive manufacturer/supplier, is looking for an HR Generalist to join their facility in the Greater Huntsville area. You’ll be the go-to for employee relations, handling workplace issues, and keeping things fair and compliant. Alongside investigations, you’ll help build strong team relationships and encourage a safe, positive workplace.

What you’ll do:

• Be the primary contact for employee relations and handle investigations into conflicts or policy issues.

• Coach leaders on performance, attendance, and conflict—keeping things consistent and fair.

• Ensure compliance with employment laws and help with reporting.

• Support HR programs, training, and engagement initiatives.

What you need:

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related

• 4+ years in HR with strong employee relations experience (manufacturing is a plus)

• Knowledge of employment law and experience managing workplace issues

• Strong communication, discretion, and data skills

Work environment: Office and plant, PPE required in plant areas. Some standing, walking, and occasional lifting. Flexibility for shifts or weekends as needed.
