Human Resources Generalist
Location: In-Office | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay Range: $80,000 - $90,000/year depending on experience

This is not a junior HR role. You'll be the go-to resource for employee relations, compliance, policy development, recruiting, and HR systems, and a trusted advisor to ownership.

What You'll Be Responsible For
You will oversee and administer all core HR functions, including:
- Full-cycle recruiting (job postings, screening, interviews, offer letters)
- Onboarding and offboarding
- Maintaining personnel files and documentation compliance
- Benefits administration and open enrollment support
- Employee relations and workplace investigations
- Coaching managers on corrective action and performance management
- Maintaining and updating policies and employee handbook
- Ensuring compliance with wage & hour laws and employment regulations
- HR reporting and metrics for leadership
- Backing up payroll processing when needed
- Supporting training and development initiatives
You'll play a critical role in minimizing liability, strengthening retention, and ensuring HR systems are structured, organized, and audit-ready.
What We're Looking For
Required:
- 5+ years of HR experience
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
- Experience handling employee relations and investigations
- HRIS and Microsoft Office proficiency
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- High discretion and confidentiality
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR
- BA in Human Resources
- Experience supporting field-based teams
- Payroll and benefits vendor coordination experience
