Job Details
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations and ensure a seamless employee experience. This mid-level role will play a key part in onboarding, benefits administration, payroll support, and employee relations while maintaining compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Onboarding & Employee Experience:
Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding, including orientation and documentation
Ensure all new hire paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner
Partner with hiring managers to deliver a smooth onboarding experience
Benefits Administration & Enrollment:
Administer employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans
Manage open enrollment processes and assist employees with benefit-related questions
Coordinate with insurance providers and ensure accurate enrollments and updates
HR Compliance & Employment Verification:
Manage employment verifications and maintain employee records in compliance with regulations
Ensure HR policies and procedures align with federal, state, and local laws
Payroll & Accounts Receivable Support:
Assist with payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Support reconciliation of payroll-related items and reporting
Provide support related to HR aspects of accounts receivable (AR), as needed
Workers’ Compensation & Unemployment Claims:
Administer workers’ compensation claims, including reporting, tracking, and follow-up
Manage unemployment claims and respond to requests for information
Partner with leadership and external vendors to resolve claims efficiently
Employee Relations & HR Support:
Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and HR-related concerns
Support performance management processes and documentation
Assist in implementing HR initiatives, programs, and policies
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
3–5 years of HR generalist experience
Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements
Experience with payroll systems and HRIS platforms
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred
Experience handling workers’ compensation and unemployment claims
Background in benefits administration and payroll support
