HR Business Partner Responsibilities
* Serve as the company's dedicated HR leader, owning and executing all HR functions across the organization.
* Partner directly with the Owner and leadership team to align people strategy with business objectives and financial goals.
* Develop and implement Key Results Areas for all team members to create clarity, accountability, and measurable performance.
* Lead the annual performance review cycle, including goal setting, evaluations, feedback processes, and performance improvement planning.
* Launch and champion key cultural initiatives, embedding core values into hiring, development, and day-to-day operations.
* Build and lead the company's safety program in partnership with external safety consultants, coordinating certifications, trainings, and job site safety walks while ensuring OSHA compliance.
* Oversee full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for both field and office roles, strengthening workforce planning and talent acquisition.
* Manage employee relations matters, providing coaching, conflict resolution, and consistent policy enforcement.
* Administer HR compliance functions including FMLA, ACA reporting, annual 401K audits, benefits renewals, and required employment documentation.
* Partner with Finance to support sales compensation administration and related reporting.
* Establish and maintain HR processes, policies, and procedures that support scalability and operational excellence.
* Promote and reinforce company culture, mission, and core values across all departments.
Human Resources Business Partner Requirements:
- 4+ years of hands-on human resources experience
- Experience working in construction, HVAC, or other specialty contractors is a plus
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is a plus, but not required
- Degree in human resources or related field is a plus but not required
- Expertise in human resources reporting, benefits administration, employment law, OHSHA regulations, and compensation structure development
- Experience working directly with third party safety teams is a plus
- Experience implementing new initiatives to drive positive culture and success within in the company
