Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid schedule) 

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support our employees and leaders in driving business success through people-focused solutions. This role will partner closely with managers to deliver HR initiatives, provide guidance on employee relations, and support day-to-day HR operations.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of HR experience, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of core HR functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a strategic and operational HR partner to assigned business units
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Support employee relations matters, including coaching, investigations, and conflict resolution
  • Assist leaders with performance management, employee development, and engagement initiatives
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition on workforce planning, hiring, onboarding, and retention
  • Support HR programs such as compensation reviews, benefits administration, and employee lifecycle processes
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to provide insights and recommendations
  • Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of progressive human resources experience
  • Working knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and employee relations
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Experience supporting managers in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications 
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or working toward one)
  • Experience in a multi-location or high-growth organization
  • Exposure to change management or organizational development initiatives
