Human Resources Assistant

Privately held manufacturer has a permanent opportunity for a Human Resources Assistant. The company has been in existence for 50+ years, growing, expanding facilities with large, well-recognized long-term customers. Position is part of the Human Resources team, reporting to the HR Director and will be responsible for a broad range of Human Resources work, partnering with leadership and supporting employees throughout the company.
Salary: Approximately $60,000 - $75,000 + Bonus – Based on Experience
Key Responsibilities of the Human Resources Assistant:
- Assist with onboarding new hires, including processing paperwork, orientation and inputting information into system
- Assist with payroll processing for employees
- Point of contact for benefit programs for new hires, open enrollment, and employee benefit questions
- Assist with internal recruiting efforts, interviews and offer letters
- Assist with performance initiatives, all company meetings, training, and employee engagement events
- Work with leaders on performance reviews, goal setting and recognition
- Ad hoc projects
Qualifications for the Human Resources Assistant:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1+ years of Human Resources experience
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish
- Payroll processing
- Microsoft Office
