Human Resources Assistant
Join a large public healthcare organization supporting workforce operations and HR administration. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate HR records, supporting training logistics, and providing day-to-day administrative support to the HR Operations team.
Responsibilities
- Scan and digitize hardcopy HR documents into the HR digital system.
- Categorize and electronically file scanned documents into appropriate folders for efficient retrieval.
- Create complex presentations using PowerPoint, including charts and graphs derived from database information.
- Utilize Excel and Access for data tracking, reporting, and administrative support.
- Assist with training class scheduling and ensure proper classroom setup.
- Create and distribute surveys related to HR initiatives and training programs.
- Perform general administrative duties including answering phones, ordering supplies, and coordinating travel arrangements.
- Provide overall administrative support to the HR Operations department as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of two years of relevant administrative or HR-related experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience handling confidential information preferred.
