Job Description
The Human Resources Administrator will support daily HR operations and ensure accurate maintenance of employee records and documentation. This position plays an important role in coordinating recruitment and onboarding activities, assisting with payroll and benefits administration, and helping maintain HR compliance standards.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment while supporting a variety of HR administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain employee data and personnel records within the HRIS system, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
- Assist with recruiting activities including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and supporting hiring managers throughout the process.
- Prepare onboarding materials and documentation for new hires, including employment forms and policy acknowledgements.
- Support new employee onboarding and help coordinate access, systems setup, and orientation materials.
- Assist with payroll preparation by collecting and verifying timekeeping data, PTO requests, and related documentation.
- Support benefits administration tasks including enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries.
- Maintain organized and audit-ready HR files in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Generate HR reports and metrics related to workforce data such as headcount, turnover, and recruiting activity.
- Assist with internal HR initiatives such as training sessions, employee engagement programs, and company events.
- Provide administrative support for HR projects and respond to employee questions related to HR processes and policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience supporting HR functions such as recruiting coordination, onboarding, payroll support, or benefits administration.
- Experience working with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and maintaining employee data.
- Familiarity with employment regulations and HR compliance standards is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Paylocity, BambooHR, or similar HR systems is a plus.
