Position: Human Resources Administrator
Location: San Antonio, FL
Pay: Starting at $24.00 - $34.00 per hour, based on experience

JOB SUMMARY
·The Human Resources Administrator (Bilingual: English/Spanish) supports day-to-day HR operations for a fast-paced landscape company with a diverse, primarily field-based workforce. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees and supervisors, providing administrative support across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll coordination, benefits administration, and compliance. The position requires fluency in English and Spanish to communicate effectively with all employees.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Employee Administration amp; Support
- Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related questions from employees and supervisors
- Communicate HR policies, procedures, and company updates in English and Spanish
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel files (physical and electronic)
- Track employee data, including new hires, status changes, and terminations
Recruitment amp; Onboarding
- Assist with recruiting hourly and salaried positions, including field crew roles
- Coordinate interviews, background checks, and pre-employment screenings
- Conduct new hire onboarding and orientation sessions (bilingual)
- Prepare offer letters, onboarding packets, and employment documentation
Benefits Administration
- Assist employees with benefit enrollment, changes, and questions
- Educate employees on available benefits during onboarding and open enrollment
- Liaise with benefit vendors and carriers as needed
Compliance amp; Recordkeeping
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws
- Assist with I-9 verification, E-Verify, and employment eligibility compliance
- Support workers’ compensation claims and safety documentation
- Maintain OSHA, training, and certification records
Employee Relations amp; Engagement
- Assist with employee communication, engagement initiatives, and company events
- Support investigations, disciplinary actions, and corrective action documentation
- Provide translation support during meetings, training, or HR discussions as needed
General HR Support
- Support HR Manager with audits, reports, and special projects
- Assist with training coordination and documentation
- Perform other administrative duties related to human resources as assigned
Qualifications Required
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Human Resources or administrative support
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
- Knowledge of basic HR practices, payroll processes, and employment laws
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS/timekeeping systems
Preferred
- Experience in landscaping, construction, agriculture, or similar field-based industries
- Familiarity with seasonal staffing and high-volume hiring
- Experience supporting a bilingual or multicultural workforce
- Experience in ADP Workforce Now, QuickBooks, and NetSuite
Physical and Work Environment Requirements
- Office-based with regular interaction with field employees
- May require occasional outdoor site visits to job locations
- Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods
