Human Resource Generalist

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of comprehensive HR experience with enough depth to refine HR workflows, strengthen compliance practices, and support organizational growth.
- Payroll experience with Paychex or similar systems, including multistate processing and familiarity with payroll compliance requirements.
- Current working knowledge of HR and payroll compliance (I‑9, EEO, FLSA, audits, multistate requirements, etc.)
- Experience supporting talent acquisition and performance management
Comfortable taking initiative to refine workflows, solve problems, and enhance HR processes. - Familiarity with Wynne systems a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree in either Human Resources or Business required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Process biweekly, multistate payroll.
- Maintain accurate employee records, job changes, compensation updates, and benefits data
- Partner with Finance to ensure payroll accuracy and timely reporting
- Manage full‑cycle recruiting for field and corporate roles
Build and maintain job postings, interview workflows, and candidate pipelines - Recommend improvements to the ATS and hiring workflows to create a smoother candidate experience
- Conduct regular audits of payroll, I‑9s, EEO data, and personnel files
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Support safety and workers’ compensation processes in partnership with operations
- Coordinate annual performance review cycles
- Support managers with coaching, documentation, and employee relations best practices
- Help strengthen culture, engagement, and communication across the organization
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR workflows and implement new tools
Lead or support HR initiatives such as onboarding redesign, handbook updates, and training
