Privately held company with a national reach is seeking an HR Business Partner to help align their people strategy with their operational growth. Position Summary

This role serves as a strategic and operational HR partner supporting leadership across corporate and sales functions. The HRBP will translate business priorities into actionable workforce initiatives that improve performance, retention, and organizational effectiveness.

The position is suited for a mid-career HR professional who can operate independently, influence leadership decisions, and execute across core HR disciplines including employee relations, recruiting, performance management, and change initiatives.

You will work closely with leadership to strengthen talent capability, support workforce planning, and ensure consistent HR practices across the organization. The role requires strong judgment, business awareness, and the ability to navigate sensitive situations with professionalism and objectivity.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership & Organizational Alignment

  • Act as the primary HR advisor to functional leadership, connecting workforce strategy to operational goals
  • Partner with leaders on organizational design, succession planning, and talent planning
  • Convert business needs into structured HR initiatives that support scalability and accountability
  • Use workforce data to guide decisions around engagement, retention, and structure

Talent Acquisition & Hiring Process Management

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for corporate and revenue-generating roles
  • Work with hiring leaders to define success profiles and structured interview processes
  • Oversee sourcing strategy, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer development
  • Implement interview scorecards and manager training to improve hiring quality and reduce bias
  • Track recruiting metrics and continuously refine hiring practices to support growth

Performance Management & Talent Development

  • Lead goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning processes
  • Coach managers on feedback delivery and performance improvement
  • Identify high-potential employees and support leadership succession planning
  • Assist with compensation planning and incentive alignment

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Handle employee relations matters using balanced business judgment
  • Conduct workplace investigations and provide risk-aware recommendations
  • Advise leadership on policy application and employment best practices
  • Coordinate with HR operations and external advisors when appropriate

Change Management & Organizational Effectiveness

  • Support restructuring, role clarity initiatives, and process improvements
  • Assist leadership communication during periods of change or growth
  • Implement initiatives that improve engagement and accountability

HR Operations & Collaboration

  • Partner with HR teams on onboarding, training, and compliance programs
  • Participate in cross-functional HR projects that improve infrastructure and processes
  • Support leadership development initiatives within assigned business groups

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field
  • Approximately 4–7 years of progressive HR experience partnering with leaders
  • Experience supporting sales, operations, or corporate environments preferred
  • Strong background in employee relations, recruiting, and performance management
  • Sound judgment and business acumen
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to manage complex interpersonal situations
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
  • HR certification preferred
