Human Resource Assistant

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a motivated and personable Human Resources/ Administrative Assistant to join our administrative team. This role provides the opportunity to transition into a full-time position in the future based on organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization's mission, values, and goals in the healthcare or medical practice sector.
• Partner with senior leadership to understand business objectives and provide HR guidance on workforce planning, talent acquisition, and retention strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA), and accreditation standards.
• Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of healthcare professionals, ensuring the right fit for organizational needs.
• Manage performance management programs, employee engagement initiatives, and leadership development to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Ensure the organization is compliant with healthcare employment laws, OSHA standards, and other healthcare-specific regulations.
• Manage workers' compensation, safety protocols, and return-to-work policies within a healthcare setting.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of HR experience.
• In-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
• Proven experience in talent management, employee relations, workforce planning, and organizational development.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
