A bit about us:

We are a recognized leader in the refining industry. We own and operate three refineries located in Lake Charles, LA.; Lemont, IL.; and Corpus Christi, TX, and wholly and/or jointly owns 38 active terminals, six pipelines and three lubricants blending and packaging plants. Our business units team is looking for an analyst who is reliable with good communication skills to join our team for a long term contract slated through the end of the year.

Job Duties

Data Management
  • Collect HSSE data from different sources; Check and revise data to make sure it is correct and complete; Enter and organize data using computer software (Excel, SharePoint, Enablon, Power BI, etc.); and Maintain and update databases and document libraries, especially in SharePoint.

Data Reporting
  • Prepare dashboards showing key HSSE information using Power BI and Excel; Create regular reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) for management; and Develop data presentation summaries in PowerPoint.

Administrative Support
  • Take meeting minutes and distribute them to the team; Review technical documents for accuracy and formatting; Upload and organize documents and files on the company’s SharePoint site; and Support with ordering supplies and helping with procurement processes.

Job Duties II
Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with HSSE team members to prioritize tasks and understand what information is needed; Communicate clearly with team members and managers about your findings and progress.

Confidentiality and Professionalism
  • Keep all company information private during and after your contract; Be professional and respectful in all interactions.
  • Weekly, monthly, and quarterly HSSE data analysis reports.
  • Dashboards to help managers make decisions.
  • Organized and accurate databases and document libraries.
  • Meeting minutes and reviewed technical documents.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets to provide actionable insights
  • Develop and maintain data collection systems and databases
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in data sets
  • Work closely with the project team to prioritize business and information needs
  • Generate reports and dashboards to support decision-making processes

Job Duties II
Required skills:
Collecting, revising, and validating HSSE data using software including:
Excel, SharePoint, Power BI, PowerPoint, Enablon, Word, Outlook, DocuSign, SnapComms
Analyzing incidents, audits, and compliance data
Maintain SharePoint document library
Preparing dashboards and regular reports for management
Identifying trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
Additional administrative support such as meeting minutes, standards technical writing reviews, uploading documents to company SharePoint site, others as required
