This role is part of Blue Origin corporate functions, providing centralized support across Blue Origin business unit teams, functions, and locations.

As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team of experts, you will provide technical support, development, configuration and ongoing maintenance of our Workday system as we execute an HR digital transformation in 2026, delivers numerous new capabilities and features company-wide. This position will report to the Director of HR Technology and be responsible for business process configuration, report development, Workday Integration support and security configuration, and other related system enhancements, and be a steward of our system and data.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for supporting Workday across multiple modules, potentially including Core HCM, Talent Acquisition, Advanced Comp, Benefits, Payroll, Timekeeping, Absence Management, Workday Security, Integrations.

Take full responsibility for the configuration of assigned HR events in Workday, deployment of new modules, design and configuration of new features and solutions for requested enhancements

Design, configure, test, and implement Workday improvements and business process changes and troubleshoot issues when they arise.

Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to understand business requirements and execute on technical solution requirements.

Collaborate with process SMEs and technical product managers to evaluate business requirements and recommend technical solutions.

Deliver technical solutions that measurably improve the employee digital experience and improve the usability of our HR systems

Research and address data integrity issues and errors. Ensure a high level of data integrity is maintained and transactions are accurate. Establish audit processes as needed.

Support projects to streamline processes, eliminate non-value-added activities improve efficiency, and ensure timely completion, high-quality implementations, achievement of budget targets, and outstanding customer service

Qualifications:

5+ years experience in Workday, including 3+ years configuring Workday (i.e., business processes, integrations, security, ). Must be able to hit the ground running on day 1 to support the team with complex Workday changes

Experience building and maintaining calculated fields in Workday

Advanced Workday Report Writing experience

Studio Integrations experience

Experience working in agile work environment and working in ticket/case management systems (e.g., JIRA)

Ability to communicate, both verbally and written, with a high level of confidence

Strong collaborator; can engage with partners and stakeholders at all levels

Strong customer happiness orientation

Desired:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related business area is helpful

Experience with the Workday Extend

Compensation Range for:
WA applicants is $112,059.00 - $156,882.60

Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
