Salary Range: $84,000 - $129,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for production, technical, and administrative staff.
- Manage employee relations, grievance resolution, and disciplinary processes in a union or non-union environment.
- Develop and implement HR policies, ensuring compliance with labor laws and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA).
- Coordinate and deliver training and development programs, including safety, skills enhancement, and leadership.
- Administer compensation, benefits, and performance management systems for all employee levels.
- Drive initiatives for workplace safety, employee engagement, and retention within manufacturing operations.
- Conduct workforce planning to align staffing levels with production demands and operational needs.
Recommended Qualifications
- 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including OSHA regulations and compliance in a production setting.
- Proven expertise in employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management for a diverse workforce.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with operational goals and talent acquisition for skilled labor.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field; SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification preferred.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience managing HR in a unionized manufacturing environment, including collective bargaining.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and their application to HR processes.
- Proven ability to recruit and retain skilled trades, engineering, and production personnel.
- Familiarity with manufacturing-specific safety regulations (e.g., OSHA) and driving a proactive safety culture.
