Salary Range: $82,000 - $127,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard, and retain skilled production, technical, and management staff.
• Manage all aspects of employee relations, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution within the manufacturing plant.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures compliant with labor laws and manufacturing regulations.
• Oversee performance management, training, and development programs for all manufacturing employees.
• Administer compensation, benefits, and payroll for the manufacturing workforce.
• Partner with EHS to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with all safety regulations.
• Conduct workforce planning and succession management to address skill gaps and future talent needs.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience managing HR functions within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state labor laws, including OSHA regulations and wage & hour compliance.
• Demonstrated ability in employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management for a diverse workforce.
• Experience with high-volume recruitment strategies for production, technical, and skilled trades roles.
• Proficiency in HRIS platforms and data analytics for HR reporting and decision-making.

Bonus Qualifications

• Multilingual capabilities (e.g., Spanish) to support a diverse manufacturing workforce.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment or with labor relations.
• OSHA 30-hour certification or strong background in industrial safety compliance.
