Key Responsibilities for the HR Manager:

• Lead and develop the company’s safety program, including OSHA compliance, lockout/tagout procedures, and ensuring policies are updated, accessible, and enforced.
• Conduct safety training for supervisors and employees; design, schedule, and continuously improve training content.
• Oversee first aid, CPR preparedness, and general on‑site safety readiness.
• Support recruitment efforts with an emphasis on hiring individuals aligned with company values, reliability, and accountability.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, new‑hire check‑ins, and small recognition activities.
• Partner with supervisors, plant leadership, and HR to reinforce a culture of teamwork, responsibility, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications for the HR Manager:

• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with OSHA standards, lockout/tagout procedures, CPR/first aid, and general workplace safety practices.
• Previous forklift training experience or certification is helpful but not required.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to create structure, manage multiple tasks, and implement process improvements.
• Professional, approachable, and comfortable working with direct communication styles.
