The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle recruitment, hiring, and onboarding for production and administrative roles.
- Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and safety regulations.
- Administer performance management programs, including reviews and development plans for manufacturing staff.
- Coordinate and deliver training initiatives focused on safety, quality, and technical skills development.
- Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and internal equity for all employees.
- Lead workforce planning and succession strategies to support operational demands and production goals.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proven experience managing all HR functions within a manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state labor laws, including OSHA regulations.
- Demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition and retention for hourly production roles.
- Strong background in employee relations, conflict resolution, and fostering a positive plant culture.
- Experience with HRIS implementation and leveraging HR data for strategic decision-making.
Bonus Qualifications
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with labor relations or collective bargaining agreements.
- Proficiency in a second language relevant to the local workforce.
- Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing operational processes and challenges.
