Salary Range: $86,000 - $131,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for a diverse manufacturing workforce, including skilled trades and production roles.
- Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures in a production environment.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and industry-specific regulations (e.g., OSHA).
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, often including hourly wage structures, shift differentials, and collective bargaining agreements.
- Lead training and development initiatives focused on safety, operational efficiency, and skill enhancement for plant personnel.
- Drive performance management processes, providing coaching and support to production supervisors and line workers.
- Partner with plant leadership to develop and execute workforce planning strategies to meet production demands.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or senior HR professional (5+ years) within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in labor relations, including collective bargaining and grievance resolution.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing-specific HR challenges, such as safety regulations (OSHA) and shift work management.
- Proficiency in talent acquisition and retention strategies for production and skilled trades roles.
- Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state employment laws relevant to manufacturing operations.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms commonly used in manufacturing, such as Kronos or ADP Workforce Now.
- Demonstrated experience in fostering and managing a robust safety culture.
- Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish) to support a diverse workforce.
- Experience with multi-site HR management within a manufacturing context.
