Salary Range: $55,000 - $82,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for production, maintenance, and administrative roles within the manufacturing facility.
- Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution on the plant floor.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws (e.g., OSHA, FLSA) and company policies relevant to manufacturing operations.
- Support performance management processes, including reviews, goal setting, and corrective actions for plant personnel.
- Coordinate and facilitate essential training programs, including safety and skill development for manufacturing employees.
- Maintain accurate HR records, support payroll processing, and generate HR reports for the manufacturing site.
- Assist with workers' compensation claims and promote a strong safety culture in collaboration with EHS.
Recommended Qualifications
- 3-5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience, with a significant portion in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state labor laws, including OSHA compliance and employment regulations specific to manufacturing.
- Proven ability to manage complex employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and performance management within a production setting.
- Experience with full-cycle recruitment for various manufacturing roles, such as skilled trades, production, and operational staff.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and data management, with an understanding of HR analytics relevant to a diverse manufacturing workforce.
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering a strong safety culture and understanding of workplace safety principles.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience supporting HR in a unionized environment.
- OSHA 10/30 certification or strong understanding of manufacturing safety compliance.
- Proficiency in Spanish or another relevant second language.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles.
