Salary Range: $59,000 - $86,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for production, technical, and administrative roles within the manufacturing plant.
  • Provide guidance and support on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as company policies and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA).
  • Administer performance management processes, compensation, and benefits programs for plant employees.
  • Conduct new hire onboarding and facilitate ongoing training and development initiatives for the workforce.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports for HR metrics, compliance, and workforce planning.
  • Support a positive and safe work environment by addressing employee concerns and promoting engagement and retention.

Recommended Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in employee relations, including investigations, conflict resolution, and performance management for hourly workforces.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state labor laws, including OSHA regulations relevant to manufacturing operations.
  • Proven ability to recruit for production, skilled trades, and administrative roles within a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and the ability to leverage data for HR reporting and analysis.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Bilingual proficiency (especially Spanish)
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience with OSHA compliance and industrial safety practices
  • Exposure to labor relations or experience in a unionized environment
