HR Generalist

Location: Shelton, CT (Onsite)
Compensation: $70,000 – $75,000

Key Responsibilities of the HR Generalist

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for key leadership and professional roles

  • Partner with hiring managers to develop and execute strategic hiring plans

  • Source, attract, and engage top talent across multiple channels

  • Coordinate interviews and support the candidate experience

HR Operations

  • Support the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, engagement, and offboarding

  • Assist with compensation, benefits administration, and payroll coordination

  • Conduct and support performance reviews and employee evaluations

  • Partner with leadership on employee relations and retention initiatives

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and HR best practices

Administrative & Office Support

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support for the HR function and Shelton office

  • Coordinate interviews, leadership meetings, training sessions, and company events

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS documentation

  • Support onboarding logistics including equipment, workspace, and system access

  • Assist with HR reporting, documentation, and compliance requirements


Preferred Qualifications of the HR Generalist

  • 5+ years of HR experience, with strong exposure to recruiting and HR operations

  • Experience supporting compensation, benefits, payroll, and performance management

  • Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills

  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

  • Experience supporting leadership hiring and HR initiatives
