About our client:
Addison Group is partnering with a mission-driven organization in the nonprofit sector that is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support their growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting HR operations, compliance, and employee engagement.
Job Description:
The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting day-to-day human resources functions, including recruiting, onboarding, compliance, and employee records management. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who is comfortable managing multiple priorities while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, and onboarding new hires
- Maintain and organize personnel files in compliance with federal and state regulations
- Assist with onboarding processes, background checks, and employee documentation
- Utilize HR systems and platforms such as ADP, Concentra, ChildPlus, iSolve, and Texas Workforce
- Ensure compliance with licensing requirements (including HHSC standards)
- Assist with benefits administration and employee relations support
- Maintain accurate HR records and reporting
- Partner with HR leadership on special projects and process improvements
Qualifications:
- SHRM Certification required
- 2+ years of HR Generalist experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
- Experience with recruiting, onboarding, and compliance
- Familiarity with HR systems such as ADP, Concentra, ChildPlus, iSolve, and Texas Workforce
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment regulations
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong attendance and punctuality required

- Full-time, onsite position (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
