Job Title: HR Director 

Location: Honolulu, Hawaii (Island of Oahu) or Southern California (office located in City of Industry, CA) - (Travel between both states may be required)

About the Role 

We are seeking a dynamic HR Director to lead human resources operations and strategy across multiple states. This role is pivotal in shaping organizational HR strategy and fostering strong business partnerships. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in HR administration, employee management, and compliance, while thriving in a multi-state environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

• 
  Multi-State HR Leadership: Manage HR operations across Hawaii and California, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. 
  

• 
  Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with executive leadership to shape organizational strategy and align HR initiatives with business goals. 
  

• 
  HR Administration & Employee Management: Oversee core HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compensation programs. 
  

• 
  Policy & Compliance: Ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures across all locations. 
  

• 
  Team Leadership: Mentor and develop HR team members, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. 
  

• 
  Travel: Ability to travel between Hawaii and California as needed. 
  

Qualifications 

• 
  Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred). 
  

• 
  8+ years of progressive HR experience, including HR administration and employee management. 
  

• 
  Proven experience managing HR operations across multiple states. 
  

• 
  Strong knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements for California. Hawaii experience preferred. 
  

• 
  Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills. 
  

• 
  Retail, Fast-Food/Quick-Service Restaurant (QSR industry), Food Services, Hospitality highly preferred 
  

• 
  Franchise experience a plus 
  

Compensation & Benefits 

• 
  Salary: Up to $185,000 annually 
  

• 
  Bonus Eligible 
  

Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically up to $185,000 annually with bonus eligibility. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
