Our client is an insurance company seeking an HR Coordinator to support their human resources team. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in HR and gain experience across multiple functions.
You'll assist with recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee engagement while maintaining accurate HR records and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the recruitment process including job postings and interview scheduling
- Conduct new hire onboarding and orientation sessions
- Maintain employee records and update HRIS system
- Assist with benefits enrollment and employee inquiries
- Support performance review process and tracking
- Help plan employee engagement events and programs
- Prepare HR reports and metrics for leadership
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in HR, recruiting, or administrative role
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and applicant tracking software
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of basic employment laws is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
