Genesis10 is currently seeking an HR Coordinator for a contract position with our client located in Chicago, IL. This is a 6-month contract opportunity. The position is Hybrid, 3 days per week in the office.

Pay range:$30.00 - $35.00  per Hour W2

We are seeking a detail‐oriented and organized HR Coordinator to support our team during a high‐volume hiring period. This role will focus primarily on the administrative tasks associated with new hire onboarding and background check processing. The ideal candidate is proactive, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced HR environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with all administrative components of the new hire onboarding process, ensuring timely completion of required documents and compliance steps.
  • Coordinate and track background checks, communicating updates with candidates and internal stakeholders as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up‐to‐date employee information and onboarding records.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including data entry, file management, and workflow coordination.
  • Serve as an onsite point of contact in the Chicago office for new hires and HR-related inquiries.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in HR coordination, onboarding, recruiting support, or related administrative roles preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with standard office tools and systems (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
