A well-established global nonprofit organization headquartered in Manhattan is seeking a Temporary HR Associate to support its Human Resources team. This role is ideal for someone early in their HR career who is eager to gain hands-on experience in HR operations, recruiting support, and employee lifecycle processes within a professional and mission-driven environment.

Description
Provide administrative support to the HR team across recruitment, onboarding, and employee records
Coordinate interviews and assist with scheduling for hiring managers and candidates
Help prepare offer letters, onboarding materials, and new hire documentation
Maintain and update HRIS records and employee files
Assist with job postings and candidate tracking through the applicant tracking system
Support HR projects related to employee engagement, training, and compliance
Respond to general HR inquiries and assist with day-to-day HR operations
Profile
- HR internship experience required (Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, or People Operations)
- Bachelor's degree or currently completing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field preferred
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
