Overview

Break into the Human Resources field by utilizing your administrative experience at this 3rd generation civil contractor. Report to and work closely with HR and Safety leadership will helping to ensure that day-to-day HR operations run smoothly, accurately, and in compliance with state and union requirements.

What You Will Do

  • Organize, maintain, and update confidential personnel files and HR records
  • Process and track documentation related to new hires, employee changes, and separations
  • Assist new employees with required paperwork to support a compliant and welcoming onboarding experience
  • Track compliance requirements including Paid Sick Leave, PFML, workers’ compensation, and other Washington State mandates

Who You Are

  • 2+ years of administrative experience
  • HR courses or experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and comfortable interacting with all types of people
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
