What we are looking for:
Technical Professionals Group, LLC is seeking motivated, dependable and safe HR Administrative Assistant to support a large mining company in Sahuarita, AZ.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist with preparing onboarding materials and coordinating new hire orientations
- Maintain organized digital and physical files for employees and subcontractors
- Schedule interviews, meetings, and HR-related activities
- Maintain HR spreadsheets, documentation, and internal records
- Serve as a professional point of contact for employees, subcontractors, vendors, and visitors
- Ensure accuracy in recordkeeping, documentation, and onboarding processes
- Support recruiting efforts, including candidate screening and onboarding coordination
- Provide general HR administrative support as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience
- Prior office or administrative experience with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data entry systems
- Experience managing calendars, phones, and administrative workflows
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-service mindset
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Effective time management with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ADP or similar HRIS systems
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- HR experience in industrial, mining, or engineering environments
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to manage records within electronic document management systems
- Willingness to obtain MSHA certifications upon hire (3 days of paid training)
Physical and Environmental Job Requirements
- Sitting, standing, bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, pushing, carrying and lifting items of up to 25 lbs or more
- Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions; dusty, hot weather
- Ability to perform essential job functions in an environment with varied noise levels
