What we are looking for:

Technical Professionals Group, LLC is seeking motivated, dependable and safe HR Administrative Assistant to support a large mining company in Sahuarita, AZ.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist with preparing onboarding materials and coordinating new hire orientations
  • Maintain organized digital and physical files for employees and subcontractors
  • Schedule interviews, meetings, and HR-related activities
  • Maintain HR spreadsheets, documentation, and internal records
  • Serve as a professional point of contact for employees, subcontractors, vendors, and visitors
  • Ensure accuracy in recordkeeping, documentation, and onboarding processes
  • Support recruiting efforts, including candidate screening and onboarding coordination
  • Provide general HR administrative support as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience

  • Prior office or administrative experience with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data entry systems
  • Experience managing calendars, phones, and administrative workflows
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-service mindset
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Effective time management with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ADP or similar HRIS systems
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • HR experience in industrial, mining, or engineering environments

Additional Requirements

  • Valid driver's license
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to manage records within electronic document management systems
  • Willingness to obtain MSHA certifications upon hire (3 days of paid training)

Physical and Environmental Job Requirements

  • Sitting, standing, bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, pushing, carrying and lifting items of up to 25 lbs or more
  • Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions; dusty, hot weather
  • Ability to perform essential job functions in an environment with varied noise levels
