As a Housing Resource Navigator, you will serve as a trusted guide for individuals and families seeking housing support-providing practical assistance, clear information, and warm connections to community resources that change lives. You will provide direct support to constituents through a brief triage of housing needs, education, and referrals with warm handoffs, and follow-up to ensure needs have been met.

Primary Duties & Essential Functions:
- Conduct brief needs assessments and triage housing and social service needs for individuals seeking assistance
- Provide expert information, education, and referrals to community housing resources
- Perform warm handoffs to partner agencies and follow up to ensure successful connections
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community providers, landlords, and referral partners
- Educate tenants and landlords on housing rights, responsibilities, and available supports
- Maintain an up‑to‑date directory of Albuquerque housing and service providers
- Track and document services, referrals, and outcomes accurately and consistently
- Collaborate closely with outreach staff and Housing Resource Center team members
- Support data reporting by capturing service volume, timeliness, and satisfaction measures
- Use standard office technology (Word, Excel, email, virtual meeting platforms) for documentation and communication
Qualifications Required:
Education:
- Associate's degree on human/community services, social work, psychology, or related field
- in lieu of AA degree, a high school degree or equivalent and 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Experience:
- Minimum of 1-3 years experience in housing navigation, case management, housing counseling, homelessness prevention, or related human services work
- experience conducting intakes, providing referrals, and documenting services accurately
- knowledge of tenant-landlord rights and responsibilities
