Summary of Position
Responsible for ensuring that the housekeeping staff cleans and maintains guest rooms and public spaces in accordance to hotel, brand and company standards in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. |

Duties and Responsibilities
· Supervise and train Housekeeping staff. • Visually inspect guest rooms and corridors for cleanliness and appearance. • Train new and current employees on the use of chemicals for different surfaces. • Ensure that both carts and supply closets are kept clean, neat, and stocked according to housekeeping guidelines. • Assist in the scheduling of staff according to forecasted occupancy. • Guide staff to ensure that guest service and safety is our top priority. • Report all deficiencies in guest rooms and corridors to the maintenance department. • Evaluate condition of furniture, fixtures, décor, etc., make recommendations and assist in the coordinating of rehab projects. • Assist room attendants and house persons in securing all supplies and tools necessary for the completion of their jobs and be ready to step in and support them as needed to ensure efficient operation. • Maintain security of keys. • Work collaboratively with other departments, such as Front Desk and Maintenance departments. • Fill in and support employees as needed to ensure efficient operation. • Perform duties, special assignments and projects as requested by management. • Attend meetings/training as required by management. Performs other related duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager or Director of Housekeeping. |
