Description
As a Temporary Household Homemaker you will be responsible for brightening the lives of older adults by delivering exceptional customer service and creating meaningful connections. In this role, you’ll handle a variety of dining services, including household cooking, kitchen assistance, and related activities, all while fostering a warm, welcoming environment.
Schedule: Part time | 6:30am-10:30am and 6am-2:30pm | Varies Monday-Friday | 2 out of 3 weekends

Key Responsibilities
- Create an enjoyable dining experience, serving residents and their guests
- Assists with serving resident meals, snacks, and nourishments.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, dining, and service area.
- Prepare food for household meals and snacks that are healthy and appetizing.
- Plans and facilitates activities for residents involve food preparation or other activities specific to the kitchen.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Prior experience as a server in a restaurant, nursing home, or retirement community serving older adults is preferred.
- Certification in Food Handling, preferred.
- Experience in commercial food preparation and services, preferred.
- Certification in Dining Assistant or CNA, preferred.
- Ability to lift 35 pounds.
