About Our Family:

We're a close-knit family living in the Southport Corridor of Lakeview in Chicago. Our family consists of two parents, a toddler, and our beloved dog. We're all excitedly preparing for the arrival of our second child this May. As we transition into this new chapter of life, we're looking for a supportive partner to help us keep things organized and running smoothly, so we can focus on what truly matters: time together as a family.

We deeply value our family time and understand the importance of creating space to connect, especially as our family dynamics evolve. As a family, we've been intentional about dividing and organizing household responsibilities, and we're looking for someone who can help shoulder the mental load of running a busy home by owning certain categories from concept to execution. We want to keep the tasks that bring us joy and peace, and for the things that take us away from family time, we need someone we can trust to manage them for us.

We are humble in recognizing that we don't have it all figured out, especially with a new baby on the way. We're looking for someone who can help us navigate this period of change with flexibility, a willingness to step in where help is needed, and a proactive approach to managing tasks. We need someone who can observe the needs of our home and family, take initiative, and communicate with us as things shift. Life will change week to week, and we want someone who can be a trusted partner—someone who can go with the flow as we adjust to life with two little ones.

Who You Are / What We're Looking For

You are an organized, calm, and reliable self-starter who can take initiative and manage tasks independently. You thrive in a dynamic home environment and are able to shift responsibilities as our family's needs evolve. You're proactive, trustworthy, and confident in your ability to make decisions, with the practical skills to handle minor household tasks and systems efficiently.

You understand that this role is about more than just following instructions – it's about being a supportive and reliable partner who takes pride in maintaining an organized, peaceful home. You're observant and willing to speak up or make suggestions if you notice areas that could use more support, especially as our family's needs shift. You also have a strong understanding of home systems and enjoy the satisfaction of ensuring everything runs seamlessly.

You take joy in helping others and relieving stress, and you understand that the ultimate goal of this role is to offload some of the mental load from the parents so they can focus more on enjoying their intentional family time. Whether it's overseeing groceries, managing household tasks, or ensuring the family's routines run smoothly, you're excited to be the trusted partner who makes their life easier.
