Lux Senior Care is seeking a dedicated, organized, and compassionate House Administrator / Caregiver to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a leadership-support position within a small, high-quality residential care home environment.
This position will begin part-time with the opportunity to transition into full-time based on performance and facility needs.
Position Overview
The House Administrator will serve in a dual role as both a caregiver and house manager, ensuring smooth daily operations while maintaining excellent resident care standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Caregiver Duties:
- Provide hands-on care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Support residents with dementia and other age-related conditions.
- Monitor resident wellbeing and report changes appropriately.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication with team members.
Administrative & House Management Duties:
- Oversee daily household operations for a six-bed care facility.
- Conduct grocery runs and manage household supply inventory.
- Assist with house budgeting and expense tracking.
- Coordinate life enrichment activities and community outings.
- Support positive team communication and morale.
- Serve as a liaison for family communication and support.
Qualifications:
- Prior caregiving experience required (RCFE experience preferred).
- Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage both care and operational responsibilities.
- Compassionate, dependable, and proactive personality.
- Reliable transportation for grocery runs and outings.
