Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Hospitalist to provide exceptional inpatient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes. As a Hospitalist, you will lead clinical assessments, coordinate care, and act as a key liaison among multidisciplinary teams. Your expertise will directly impact patient recovery and hospital efficiency, making this a rewarding position for passionate healthcare professionals committed to excellence.

Required Skills:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
  • Valid medical license and appropriate hospital privileges
  • Proven experience in inpatient care and hospitalist duties
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Criteria for vent management case logs: minimum of 15 cases in the past 24 months with documented procedures, dates, and locations; logs must be included with application

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Additional certification in critical care or pulmonary medicine
  • Prior experience with ICU management
  • Experience working in open ICU settings
  • Bilingual skills to support diverse patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • At least 2 years of recent hospitalist experience
  • Prior ICU or ventilator management experience
  • Documented case logs aligning with job requirements

Other Requirements:
  • Must have privileges for ongoing ventilator management, with relevant case logs submitted at application
  • Ability to work day shifts (7 am – 7 pm), Tuesday to Tuesday
  • Availability to provide coverage for 1-2 weeks per month starting mid-April/early May
  • Compliance with all facility-specific credentialing procedures
