Horizontal Boring Bar Machinist

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Horizontal Boring Bar Machinist for projects located in the Green Bay, WI area. This is a full time opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $35/hour based on experience plus $100/Per Diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the job site.  If you are a Horizontal Boring Bar Machinist eager to master your skills alongside other accomplished Craft Professionals, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope:         

• Set up and operate Horizontal Boring Bar Mills, including fixturing and clamping workpieces
• Selecting and installing appropriate cutting tools, including boring bars and inserts
•  Use process instructions and G & M code programs (for CNC machines) to operate the milling and boring machine
• Perform close tolerance machining operations, including facing, boring, counter boring, drilling, and tapping, on a variety of materials

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Fanuc controls
• Experience with manual or CNC boring bar operation
• Proficiency in setting up and operating horizontal boring mills
