Home Textiles Designer

This position is perfect for a hands-on creator who merges artistic flair with technical prowess, seeing concepts through to finished products. We're looking for someone who can thrive in a dynamic and cooperative setting, bringing a deep understanding of home textile development.

Key Responsibilities

- Conceive and develop new seasonal collections for bedding and decorative textiles.
- Craft detailed CAD designs, repeats, engineered layouts, and color selections.
- Innovate trims, textures, decorative enhancements, and structural details.
- Produce artwork and tech packs ready for manufacturing processes.
- Inspect and authorize samples, strike-offs, and lab tests.
- Work in tandem with design, sales, sourcing, and manufacturing teams.
- Oversee numerous projects while adhering to deadlines.

Qualifications

- A minimum of 3-5 years in design, specifically focusing on products, textiles, or home furnishings.
- Expert skill level in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Pointcarre software.
- Competence in creating production-ready designs and repeat patterns.
- Comprehensive knowledge of textile and soft furnishings production.
- Efficiently organized, detail-focused, and capable of managing multiple brand portfolios.
