Home Health Aide (HHA)

 A Home Health Aide (HHA) assists clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. They support clients with mobility and safe transfers, provide medication reminders, and perform basic health monitoring. The HHA is responsible for light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation, as well as helping with meal planning and feeding when needed. They document and report any changes in the clients condition to a supervising nurse or manager. In addition, the HHA offers companionship and emotional support and may accompany clients to appointments or run errands as required.

• Provide personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing) and support with mobility/ambulation

• Assist with transfers and use of medical equipment as directed

• Help with nutrition, fluid intake, and simple meal prep

• Offer companionship and encouragement

• Monitor and report client conditions to clinical staff

• Perform light housekeeping related to care

• Remind clients about medications and support self-administered meds

• Respect client confidentiality and rights
