HME Patient Coordinator

• Inventory Control: Conduct monthly inventory audits, track usage, monitor expiration dates, and coordinate restocking.
• Sales & Order Coordination: Oversee the DME order process from intake to delivery and follow-up, including insurance verification and patient education.
• Compliance Oversight: Ensure compliance with Medicare, HQAA, HIPAA, and OSHA standards; maintain required documentation and operational logs.
• Customer Service: Address patient concerns, resolve issues promptly, and conduct post-delivery satisfaction calls.
• Vendor & Partner Communication: Liaise with suppliers, delivery staff, referral sources, and healthcare partners.
• Reporting: Compile and submit monthly inventory and sales reports; contribute to quarterly quality improvement reports (QAPI).
• Marketing Support: Assist with community outreach and referrals; implement in-store promotions and education events.
  
  

• 2+ years of experience in Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or Home Medical Supply operations.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare billing, DME regulations, and patient education.
• Proficiency with Brightree.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.
