HIV/Prevention Services Manager

Position Summary
Alabama Regional Medical Services (ARMS) is seeking a dedicated and mission-driven HIV/ Prevention Services Manager to lead and support the integration of HIV prevention and care services, including PrEP initiatives, within our clinical and community programs.
This role is a key member of the HIV/Prevention Services Integrated Care Team and is responsible for overseeing program operations, supervising staff, and ensuring high-quality, coordinated care for patients. The Manager collaborates with clinical leadership, community partners, and internal teams to expand program reach, improve patient engagement, and ensure compliance with state and federal grant requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the HIV/Prevention Services program, including development and execution of annual workplans
- Supervise Prevention Specialists, including training and professional development
- Support patient engagement strategies to increase enrollment through outreach and inreach efforts
- Coordinate care services including patient navigation, case management, and linkage to care
- Build and maintain partnerships with community organizations, healthcare systems, and faith-based groups
- Assist with implementation of the ARMS Faith Health Alliance and community-based prevention initiatives
- Develop and maintain program workflows, policies, procedures, and training materials
- Monitor program performance and ensure compliance with grant deliverables and reporting requirements
- Oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting for internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with program budgeting and development of marketing campaigns in collaboration with leadership
- Participate in internal leadership meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and external community collaborations
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Public Administration, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in patient navigation, case management, community outreach, or human services
- At least 3 years of experience in a public health, ambulatory care, or clinical setting
- 3–5 years of supervisory experience preferred
- Experience with HIV prevention, PrEP/PEP, STI education, or direct HIV care strongly preferred
- Experience working with diverse populations and individuals with chronic or behavioral health conditions
- Experience working with faith-based organizations is a plus
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong understanding of HIV prevention, PrEP education, and STI awareness
- Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively about sensitive health topics
- Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic record systems
- Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical and community-based environment
Additional Requirements
- Flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and community-based events
- Willingness to travel locally and participate in outreach activities
- Ability to operate the ARMS Mobile Prevention Van
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, clean driving record, and proof of insurance required
Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting, and transporting equipment
