Service and Support Assistant

HCBDD is now accepting applications and resumes for a full time (40 hours per week) Service and Support Assistant. Under the general supervision of the Service and Support Administration Director, this position is responsible for administrative and clerical support for the SSA department, including operating office equipment, managing supplies, producing materials and reports when requested, greeting and assisting the public by phone or in person, data entry, etc. The SSA Assistant also supports the department by coordinating PASRR and Metro Housing processes, providing SSA backup and maintaining a small caseload as needed.
Minimum of an Associate's Degree required. You must possess or be willing to obtain and maintain certification from Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities and first aid/CPR training. Applicants should have a working knowledge of persons with disabilities. Must have or be willing to obtain a Notary Certification. A 180-day probation period must be completed. Individual must be able to pass criminal background checks as required by the Ohio Revised Code; have a valid Ohio driver's license with a clean driving record.

Individual must be able to pass criminal background checks as required by the Ohio Revised Code; 180-day probation period must be completed. Individual must be able to pass BCI and FBI criminal background checks as required by the Ohio Revised Code; pass a preemployment drug screen, physical and TB test, and have a valid Ohio driver's license with a clean driving record and a satisfactory MVR CORSA score.
