POSITION: High School Science Teacher DUTIES: Provides high school students with appropriate learning activities and experienced designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Teaches Biology, Chemistry, and related Science subjects that will provide fundamental principles of living organisms and chemical principles and application. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society. Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the district's curriculum program and show written evidence of preparation as required. Plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies, activities, materials, and equipment that reflect an understanding of the learning styles and needs of students assigned. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor of Science degree in General Studies, Dietetics, Nutrition, or related Sciences Valid State of Colorado Teacher License Certificate with required endorsements for the subject and level assigned.
