Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support for IT hardware, software, and network issues encountered by office and factory floor personnel.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with specialized manufacturing IT equipment such as barcode scanners, label printers, and shop floor terminals.
  • Assist users with ERP/MES system access, basic functionality, and common error resolution to minimize production interruptions.
  • Diagnose and resolve network connectivity problems affecting workstations and production systems on the manufacturing floor.
  • Document resolution steps and create knowledge base articles for frequently occurring IT issues specific to manufacturing operations.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate IT teams or external vendors, ensuring timely resolution to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on IT equipment located throughout the manufacturing facility.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Proven experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues in an operational setting.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Familiarity with IT systems common in manufacturing environments (e.g., ERP, MES, industrial PCs).
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently using ticketing systems and remote support tools.
  • Basic understanding of network infrastructure (LAN/WLAN) and connectivity troubleshooting.

Bonus Qualifications
