Our client is a financial services firm seeking a Help Desk Technician to provide first-level technical support to their team of 200+ employees. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems and helping people get back to work quickly.

You'll troubleshoot hardware and software issues, respond to support tickets, and ensure a positive experience for all users.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to help desk tickets via phone, email, and in-person requests
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
  • Set up and configure workstations, laptops, and peripherals for new hires
  • Reset passwords and manage user accounts in Active Directory
  • Install and update software applications and security patches
  • Document issues and resolutions in the ticketing system
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when needed
  • Maintain IT inventory and track equipment assignments

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in help desk or technical support role
  • Familiarity with Windows 10/11, macOS, and Microsoft 365
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting
  • Experience with Active Directory and user account management
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users
  • CompTIA A+ certification is a plus but not required
  • High school diploma required; associate's degree in IT preferred
