Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support for IT hardware, software, and network issues in office and manufacturing plant environments.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with specialized manufacturing software, shop floor terminals, and production line connectivity.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and password resets for various business applications and operational systems.
  • Document all incidents, service requests, and resolutions accurately within the ticketing system.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to appropriate Level 2 support teams, including IT infrastructure and OT engineers.
  • Assist with the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of workstations, mobile devices, and peripherals across all departments.
  • Perform routine checks and preventative maintenance on IT equipment to ensure continuous manufacturing operations.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing-specific software (e.g., ERP, MES).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and resolve issues efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Proficiency in supporting Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience supporting manufacturing-specific software (e.g., ERP, MES, SCADA).
  • Familiarity with industrial hardware (e.g., barcode scanners, label printers, ruggedized devices).
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework and best practices.
  • Experience working in a 24/7 operational or production environment.
