Help Desk Technician | Hackensack, NJ

A leading regional law firm is looking for a Help Desk Technician to join its Hackensack, New Jersey office. This is a full-time, onsite role, Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

About the Role

As the firm's frontline technical resource, you'll provide hands-on support across hardware, software, and mobile devices — keeping attorneys and staff running smoothly day to day. Responsibilities include facilitating Teams and Zoom video conferences, maintaining equipment inventory, and logging all support activity in the firm's ticketing system.

What You Bring

  • Solid proficiency with Microsoft Windows 11 and Microsoft 365, especially Outlook and Word
  • Experience with iManage is strongly preferred
  • Clear, professional communication — both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently or collaborate with a team
  • A detail-oriented mindset and disciplined documentation habits

Additional Details

The position requires occasional flexibility for extended hours or shift coverage, along with periodic travel to other firm offices to support buildouts and expansions. Prior experience in a law firm or professional services environment is a plus, as is a degree in Information Systems or a related field — though equivalent hands-on experience is equally valued.
