Helpdesk Support Technician
** Location:** Charlotte, NC
** Contract: **6 months (extension or direct hire possible)
Compensation: $33.36/hour with optional benefits
** Schedule:** M-F (8am – 5pm)
** Position Summary**
The Helpdesk Support Specialist is responsible for efficiently managing and resolving a high volume of inquiries via email and phone. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and respond to helpdesk emails and phone calls in a timely and professional manner
- Troubleshoot issues and provide suppliers with effective solutions to their inquiries
- Maintain accurate records of helpdesk interactions and resolutions
- Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure a positive user experience
- Prioritize multiple tasks and manage workload efficiently in a high-volume environment
Required Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
Required Experience
- Previous experience with the Ivalua Source-to-Pay platform
Education
- High School Diploma with 3+ years of relevant experience, OR
- Associate’s Degree (AA) with 1+ year of relevant experience
EOE (including Disability/Veterans)
You should be proficient in:
- Customer Service
- IT Equipment (Servers, Networks, Telecom, Cloud)
- Excellent Communication Skills
