Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic- Level 4

TCI is looking for an experienced Level 4 Diesel Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for a highly skilled technician with strong diagnostic abilities who can perform advanced diesel repairs and support junior technicians in the shop.

As a Level 4 Technician, you will play a key role in diagnosing complex mechanical issues, performing major component repairs, and ensuring equipment is maintained to the highest safety and performance standards.

Ideal Candidate will have 4 to 6+ years' Experience - $34.78 to $40.00 an hour depending on skills and experience

Shift - Monday through Friday and on call as necessary

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics on diesel trucks and equipment

• Repair and replace major components including engines, transmissions, and aftertreatment systems

• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems

• Perform preventative maintenance and DOT inspections

• Mentor and support entry-level and mid-level technicians

• Ensure work is completed efficiently and meets safety standards

Requirements

• 4 to 6+ years Diesel Engine Repair

• Must possess a valid driver's license and meet insurability

• CDL a plus but not required

• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and aftertreatment systems (DPF/DEF)

• Experience using diagnostic software and scan tools

• Self-motivated & Leadership skills

• Ability to work independently
