Key Responsibilities
As the Healthcare Superintendent, you will oversee all on‑site construction activities while partnering closely with the Project Manager to drive schedule, safety and quality across every phase of delivery.
- Lead day‑to‑day field operations, ensuring work is executed safely and efficiently
- Maintain full understanding of plans, specifications and project documentation
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, equipment and materials to meet project milestones
- Monitor productivity, budgets, cost codes and overall site performance
- Implement site‑specific quality and safety plans and lead toolbox talks
- Manage inspections with city officials, agencies and design partners
- Support pre‑construction, constructability reviews, scheduling and project close‑out
Profile
The Successful Applicant
For the Healthcare Superintendent role, we are seeking:
- Extensive experience managing commercial or healthcare construction projects
- Degree in construction management or related field or 10+ years' progressive field leadership experience
- Strong ability to interpret drawings, schedules and technical documentation
- Proficiency using construction technology (Procore, P6, MS Project, Excel, AutoCAD)
- Demonstrated success driving safety compliance and site culture
- Ability to lead teams, solve problems quickly and build strong stakeholder relationships
- OSHA 30 and ability to work in varying site conditions; ability to travel as needed
